Privacy Policy
FreeBizMail is an independent editorial website that publishes guidance for smaller businesses researching business email options. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the site collects, why it is collected and how it is handled.
Information Collected Through The Contact Form
If you contact FreeBizMail using the site's contact form, the information submitted may include your company name, email address and any message you choose to provide. The site also records technical information associated with that enquiry, including the IP address used to submit the form and the browser user agent. This information is stored in a MySQL lead table so enquiries can be reviewed and, where appropriate, answered.
FreeBizMail collects that information for a limited purpose: to assess incoming enquiries, respond to questions about business email setup or related site content, and reduce misuse of the contact form. The site does not currently send an automatic email notification when a form is submitted, but the submitted information remains stored for later review.
How Data Is Used And Shared
Contact-form data is not sold to third parties. FreeBizMail does not share enquiry details for marketing lists or unrelated commercial use. Information may be accessible to service providers involved in hosting, database management, site maintenance or spam-prevention where that access is reasonably necessary to operate the website securely and reliably.
The site also displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may collect data through cookies or similar technologies in connection with advertising shown on this site. That third-party advertising activity is governed by Google's own privacy information and settings.
Retention And Deletion Requests
FreeBizMail keeps contact-form submissions only for as long as they remain reasonably useful for handling enquiries, maintaining business records and dealing with misuse or follow-up questions. In normal circumstances, enquiries are retained for no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is justified by an ongoing correspondence or a legitimate record-keeping need.
If you want your contact-form data deleted, you can request this through the contact page. Please provide enough information to identify the original enquiry. FreeBizMail will review the request and delete the data unless retention is still necessary for a legitimate operational or legal reason.
